Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Spend your day helping a kid practice the skills in their plan, at home or at school.

Part time or full time

You'd work with one autistic child or young person at a time, from toddlers to young adults. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervises your work and plans each child's goals with you and the family.

What you'll do

Run sessions that follow the plan your BCBA writes.
Track data on each goal as you go.
Show parents and caregivers how to practice the same skills between sessions.
Work beside teachers and aides when a session is at school.
Write a short note after each session.
Drive between families' homes and schools around St. Louis.

What you'll need

A current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) credential from the BACB.
At least 18, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
You'll need to pass background and abuse registry checks.
A driver's license, a reliable car and auto insurance.
Patience, a sense of humor, and comfort on the floor with a toddler or in a classroom with a teen.

What we offer

Supervision from a BCBA, as the BACB requires.
Sessions set around each family: often weekday afternoons and early evenings, and school sessions during the school day.
